ba99ba Responsible
Gaming — Play Smart,
Stay in Control
ba99ba is committed to providing a safe, fair, and enjoyable environment for all players across Bangladesh. This page explains the tools, resources, and safeguards available to help you keep gambling a form of entertainment — never a source of harm.
If gambling stops feeling like entertainment, ba99ba has tools and support ready the moment you need them.
ba99ba's Responsible Gaming Commitment
At ba99ba, responsible gaming is not a checkbox — it is a core part of how we operate. Since launching as Bangladesh's premier online casino and sports betting platform, we have embedded player welfare into every layer of the Platform, from account registration through to withdrawal processing.
Gambling is a popular leisure activity enjoyed by millions of adults across Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, Khulna, Rajshahi, and every corner of Bangladesh. The overwhelming majority of players engage with ba99ba's 3,200+ games and live cricket betting markets purely for entertainment, within budgets they are comfortable with, and without any negative impact on their daily lives. ba99ba's responsible gaming programme is designed to keep it that way — while also providing a robust safety net for the smaller number of players who may develop problematic gambling behaviours.
ba99ba's responsible gaming framework covers five interconnected areas: age verification to prevent underage gambling; a suite of voluntary player-controlled tools (deposit limits, loss limits, wager limits, session time limits, cool-off periods, and self-exclusion); proactive monitoring for signs of problem gambling by our compliance team; clear, accessible information about the risks associated with gambling; and direct pathways to specialist support services.
We encourage every ba99ba player to approach gambling as a form of entertainment with a defined budget — never as a source of income, a way to recover financial losses, or a coping mechanism for stress or anxiety. If your gambling habits ever shift away from that foundation, ba99ba's tools and support team are available 24/7 to help you re-establish healthy boundaries.
- Gambling is entertainment, not income
- You set a strict budget before you play
- You accept losses as the cost of entertainment
- You take regular breaks from gambling
- Gambling does not affect work, family, or finances
- You can stop at any time without distress
If any of the above no longer applies, scroll down to our Player Tools or Support section.
18+ Age Restriction — No Exceptions
ba99ba is strictly an adult platform. Players must be 18 years or older to register, deposit, play, or collect winnings. This rule is absolute and applies to all players across Bangladesh regardless of city, district, or device.
Mandatory Age Verification
Every ba99ba account is subject to age verification as part of the KYC (Know Your Customer) process. Players must provide a valid National ID (NID), passport, or other government-issued identification confirming they are 18 years of age or older. Accounts that cannot be verified will be suspended pending document review.
Ongoing Monitoring
ba99ba's compliance team reviews accounts for behavioural patterns that may indicate underage access, including account-sharing with family members who include minors. If an account is suspected to have been accessed by a person under 18, it will be immediately suspended and investigated.
Parental Controls
If you share a device with family members who are under 18, ba99ba strongly recommends using device-level parental control software such as Net Nanny, Qustodio, or your device's built-in screen time and app restriction features to prevent minors from accessing ba99ba or any other online gambling platform.
Player Responsible Gaming Tools
ba99ba provides a comprehensive set of voluntary tools that put you in complete control of your gambling activity. All tools are available free of charge and can be activated through your account settings or by contacting support.
Set a daily, weekly, or monthly cap on the total amount you can deposit into your ba99ba account in BDT. Once your limit is reached, no further deposits will be accepted until the limit period resets. You can lower your limit at any time with immediate effect. Increasing a deposit limit requires a 24-hour cooling-off period before it takes effect.
Set a daily, weekly, or monthly cap on the maximum amount you are willing to lose across all ba99ba games and betting markets. When you reach your loss limit, your account will be temporarily restricted from placing further bets until the limit period resets. Loss limits are one of the most effective responsible gaming tools available and are recommended for all players.
Set a maximum stake per individual bet or spin across all game categories — slots, live casino tables, sports betting, and crash games. This tool is particularly useful for players who want to extend their session time without the risk of placing large, impulsive bets during winning or losing streaks.
Set a maximum continuous session duration — for example, 1 hour, 2 hours, or 4 hours. When your session limit is reached, ba99ba will display a prominent on-screen reminder and, if the limit is exceeded, will log you out automatically. Session time limits help prevent extended play sessions that can lead to fatigue-driven decision-making and overspending.
Take a structured break from ba99ba by activating a cool-off period of 24 hours, 48 hours, 1 week, or 1 month. During a cool-off period, your account will be suspended — you will not be able to log in, place bets, or make deposits. Pending withdrawals will continue to be processed. Cool-off periods cannot be cancelled once activated.
Enable periodic on-screen notifications that remind you how long you have been playing and how much you have wagered and won or lost during the current session. Reality checks appear at intervals of your choosing — every 15, 30, or 60 minutes — and require you to actively acknowledge and dismiss them before continuing play. This friction is intentional and helpful.
Self-Exclusion — When You Need a Longer Break
Self-exclusion is a formal, binding process through which a player requests that ba99ba permanently or indefinitely restrict their access to the Platform. Unlike a cool-off period, self-exclusion is a serious, longer-term commitment intended for players who recognise that their gambling has become, or is at risk of becoming, harmful to themselves or their family.
ba99ba offers self-exclusion periods of 6 months, 1 year, 3 years, or permanent (indefinite) exclusion. Once a self-exclusion is active, it cannot be reversed during the chosen exclusion period under any circumstances — including by contacting support and claiming the issue has been resolved. This strict no-reversal policy is intentional: it protects players from impulse decisions made during moments of vulnerability.
During an active self-exclusion period, ba99ba will: close your account to all login attempts; suppress all promotional marketing communications to your registered email and phone number; retain your account balance for withdrawal, which you may claim by contacting support with your verified identity; and flag your account so that any re-registration attempts using the same identity documents are detected and blocked.
After your self-exclusion period has expired, ba99ba will not automatically re-open your account. You must submit a written re-activation request and complete a 7-day waiting period to allow time for reflection. ba99ba may also ask you to confirm that you have sought professional support before re-activating your account following a period of self-exclusion.
6 months · 1 year · 3 years · Permanent. All periods are binding and cannot be shortened once active.
Email [email protected] or use the 24/7 Live Chat. Include your name, registered email, and chosen period.
All logins blocked. Marketing communications stopped. Any balance is held safely for withdrawal on request.
ba99ba will not automatically reopen your account. A 7-day reflection period applies to all re-activation requests.
Self-exclusion records are retained indefinitely to prevent re-registration under the same identity during the exclusion period.
Warning Signs of Problem Gambling
Problem gambling does not develop overnight. It typically follows a gradual pattern in which recreational gambling begins to take on greater emotional and financial significance over time. Recognising the early warning signs is the single most important step toward preventing serious harm. The following indicators are commonly associated with problematic gambling behaviour — they apply equally whether you play slots, live casino games, cricket betting, or any other category on ba99ba.
Chasing Losses: Continuing to gamble — or gambling with larger amounts than planned — specifically to try to recover money lost in a previous session. This is one of the clearest early markers of problem gambling and can rapidly escalate losses.
Gambling Beyond Your Budget: Consistently spending more on gambling than you originally intended, or using money set aside for essential expenses — rent, food, utilities, bKash/Nagad top-ups — to fund gambling activity.
Preoccupation with Gambling: Spending significant time thinking about past gambling sessions, planning future sessions, or calculating how to find more money to gamble — even when engaged in other activities such as work, family time, or religious observance.
Lying About Gambling: Being dishonest with family members, friends, or colleagues about how frequently you gamble or how much you have spent. Hiding bank statements, bKash transaction histories, or Nagad receipts related to gambling activity.
Gambling as an Emotional Escape: Turning to gambling as the primary way to cope with stress, anxiety, depression, loneliness, boredom, or difficult life events such as job loss or family conflict. This pattern is particularly dangerous as it links gambling to emotional relief rather than entertainment.
Neglecting Responsibilities: Missing work deadlines, failing to meet family obligations, skipping prayers or community commitments, or neglecting personal health and wellbeing because of time or money spent gambling.
Borrowing to Gamble: Taking loans, borrowing from friends or family, using credit facilities, or selling personal assets specifically to fund gambling activity. This is a serious escalation sign that requires immediate action.
Failed Attempts to Stop: Making repeated, sincere efforts to reduce or stop gambling but finding yourself unable to follow through — even when you genuinely want to. This is a hallmark indicator that gambling behaviour has crossed from recreational to compulsive.
Chasing losses
Exceeding your budget
Constant preoccupation
Hiding gambling from others
Gambling to escape emotions
Neglecting responsibilities
Borrowing money to gamble
Unable to stop despite trying
Recognising even one of these signs early and taking action — whether setting a deposit limit, activating a cool-off, or reaching out to support — can prevent serious financial and personal harm.
Is Your Gambling Still Healthy?
Answer the following questions honestly. This is a private, informal self-check — not a clinical diagnosis. If you answer "yes" to three or more questions, ba99ba strongly recommends activating one of the player tools above or contacting our support team.
Have you ever spent more money gambling than you planned to in a single session, week, or month?
Have you ever returned to gambling on another day specifically to try to win back money you lost previously?
Have you ever borrowed money, sold belongings, or used funds earmarked for bills or savings in order to gamble?
Have you ever felt restless, irritable, or anxious when you tried to cut down or stop gambling?
Have you ever hidden your gambling activity from family members, close friends, or your spouse?
Has gambling ever caused you to miss work, neglect family responsibilities, or skip important social or religious commitments?
Have you ever gambled primarily to escape feelings of stress, worry, loneliness, depression, or boredom rather than for entertainment?
Have you ever made a sincere decision to stop gambling but found yourself unable to follow through within a few days?
Has the amount of money you need to wager in order to feel the same level of excitement increased significantly over time?
Have you or someone close to you ever expressed serious concern about the role gambling plays in your life?

Protecting Those Around You
Problem gambling rarely affects only the individual player. It touches families, close friends, and communities. ba99ba recognises the broader social responsibility it carries as Bangladesh's leading online betting platform.
Talking to a Family Member
If you are concerned about a family member's gambling behaviour, approach the conversation calmly and without judgment. Focus on specific behaviours and their impact rather than on blame. Offer to help them access support — for example, by sitting with them while they contact the ba99ba support team or activate a self-exclusion together.
Securing Shared Devices
In households where a family member has a gambling problem, secure shared devices by using separate user accounts, app-level PIN locks, and parental control software. Do not share your ba99ba login credentials with anyone. ba99ba accounts are strictly single-user and account sharing is a violation of our Terms & Conditions.
Supporting Someone in Recovery
Recovery from problem gambling is a long-term process. Provide consistent emotional support, avoid enabling gambling (e.g., lending money that may be used to gamble), and encourage professional counselling where available. Celebrate small milestones and maintain open, honest communication throughout the recovery journey.

ba99ba encourages players who need deeper support beyond our in-Platform tools to seek guidance from qualified mental health professionals, financial counsellors, or community support networks in Bangladesh. Speaking to a trusted doctor, counsellor, or community leader about gambling concerns is a sign of strength, not weakness.
Kaan Pete Roi, a Bangladeshi emotional support helpline, offers confidential listening support and can be a helpful first step for anyone dealing with stress, anxiety, or emotional difficulties related to gambling. Community health centres across Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, and other major cities also provide mental health counselling services.
